Join Croydon Korfball Club

Croydon Korfball Club is renowned as the friendliest club in London. We are also the biggest and longest running Korfball club in the UK, with a history spanning over 80 years. We are proud of our history but are also looking forward to the future with a real focus on juniors. Many of our players started as juniors and have gone on to play for the club at senior level and many of our juniors' parents have started playing as well! "Croydon is just nicer than other London clubs"

Opportunities at Every Level

CKC has 4 senior teams playing at every level of London Korfball. This coming season we will have places available in every team, including the first team, especially for female players. So if you are ambitious, committed, and love your Korfball, you could soon be playing in National League korfball next season!!

We also welcome people with open arms who are brand new to korfball or who haven't played sport for a while. We'll help you learn the game, so you can play at your level during training sessions, and eventually matches.
"I found the sport completely by accident and 2 years later I'm playing in the London leagues!"

Our senior teams compete in london and regional leagues from late October to early April each year.

Throughout the Summer we also play in outdoor tournaments, most notably our own tournament on the first Sunday in July. Summer korfball is about having fun in the sun. and our tournament is the biggest and best run, with around 30 teams playing, including some from Holland and other parts of Europe.

Leading Facilities

Home matches and club training is at Royal Russell School in East Croydon on Thursdays 8-10pm. We have over 12 korfball posts so can accommodate a lot of players in the huge sports hall there. The school has easy parking and good public transport links with a tram stop from East Croydon Station right outside.
"I only went to watch a match and now I've been playing for 18 years"

Top Level Coaching

We have an incredibly experienced coaching set-up with international experience and several members of the club have played or refereed at the very top of the game, including in international competition.

Club training is on a Thursday night at Royal Russell School. We also run a development session on Wednesdays at the same venue. click here for more information on training sessions.
