Croydon juniors in action again
Croydon Hawks and Eagles (u9s) took part in the final London Area Youth Tournament today, hosted by Croydon, at Royal Russell School. All the players performed well against some well organised and tough opposition.
Both teams won one game, drew one and lost 2.
This was the first ever tournament for Eddie and Tasha Lindsey who played well throughout. The other players helped them to settle well. Eddie even scored with his first shot of the day.
Also taking part in the event were two under 9 teams from Coulsdon C of E school. They did exceptionally well in their first ever tournament and we look forward to seeing them playing again soon.
The Croydon u11s teamed up with Coulsdon C of E school to play 4 other London u11 teams. They showed their determination and agility by winning 2 and drawing the other 2 matches, to win the day undefeated.
The teams are now looking forward to the London Schools Championships to be held on Sunday 8th May at Trinity School.
