CKC's 2008 New Recruits Joining CKC so far this close season are Mark Irving joins from us from Sheffield Hallam where he probably had the misfortune of playing with Zu. Irena Tyler made her pitch debut at the Velocitas tournament and is the first Anglo-Russian on the CKC books. She was accompanied by Olly Gin, another new starter. Ed Chaney is a comparative veteran having played for Nottingham Uni and Nottingham City over his 8 year korfing career. Steve Chadd is a another vet having started playing in the 80s for North Downs. Finally Russell Comber, Charlotte Feakins and Luke James are more new-comers joining the CKC crew. This batch of new players follows a great recruitment year in 2007 when love birds Ben Hale and Hannah Evans, ex-Croydon (and ex-slime) Dawn Aindow, Greg Dring, Hayley Rand, Neil Tarling, Peter Armfield and Sarah Hole all joined, or in some cases, re-joined, CKC.
