Especially for Owen...Ladies & gentlemen hold on to your hats...it's CKC Introducing episode 4! From the Westbury family to the CKC family we are pleased to welcome Paul and Laura. Paul found us via our meetup page and has brought with him no less than 3 other new members (including his lovely sister Laura) In his first season at CKC Paul has been on Croydon Radio telling everyone how awesome we all are. Attended every single social event we've had (also participating in 'post' social event shenanigans - don't think we don't know Paul!) and even made it onto the score sheet. Why did you start playing Korfball: (Paul) I was looking for a new group activity, preferably something different and Korfball ticked all the boxes (Laura) I also wanted to join to keep fit Best thing about Korfball: (Paul) The sport encourages team play and it's fun (Laura) also it's a unisex sport and you get a good mix of people, it allows you switch between both defence and attack Why did you choose to play for CKC: As it's our local team, it is very convenient to get to and the incentive of trying out the sport with two free sessions appealed to us.
