LKA committee seeks new members - could it be you? LKA are looking for anyone interested in being treasurer, development officer or being on the development team. Are you interested? The treasurer role involves keeping the financial records (there is a pretty nifty spreadsheet to do this now) as well as paying bills and sending out invoices. The treasurer role is a committee position so attending LKA committee meetings (3 a year or so) is also necessary. The development officer role and the development team roles involve development of korfball in London. This can broadly be split into five areas – senior players, juniors, referees, coaches and marketing. You certainly don’t have to be an expert on all of these and we would be happy to have someone on the development team who just specialised in one area. Clubs, LKA committee members and other individuals do help out with development as well so you wouldn’t be on your own. The development officer role is a committee position so attending LKA committee meetings is also necessary for this role. However, the development team members wouldn’t need to attend these meetings.
