CKC trip to Velocitas, Leiderdorp

CKC made their annual pilgrimage to Leiderdrop, Holland to play in the Velocitas tournament. This year Cambridge and Cardiff also came along to make it 4 British teams playing in the sun. Both Croydon teams did well, the firsts were in a harder pool and ran their opponents close in all games but didn't put the ball away at the right times so only came away with one win. The seconds scored better with two wins including one against Cambridge to secure bragging rights for the evening. A bbq, several small beers, some dancing and some action in the bushes later and everyone was up for the following day. Velocitas kindly organised a friendly against Crescendo. On a baking hot day, it wasn't the most competitive match ever but Croydon came away with the win thanks to a 14-11 scoreline.
